IDL on a paleontological campaign in Labanon

The paleontologist Pedro Mocho (researcher of the Instituto Dom Luiz - IDL) was in early November 2019 at Lebanon, where he gave a talk at the American University of Beirut (AUB) about the Late Jurassic sauropods of Portugal. He also briefly presented some of the current projects centered in the study of Mesozoic faunas from the Lusitanian Basin carried out by IDL, UNED - Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia, and Sociedade de História Natural, and their significance for the valorization of the paleontological heritage in Portugal. Pedro Mocho had also the possibility to do some fieldwork with paleontologists of the AUB in order to collect new data about the Mesozoic fauna of Lebanon.
