The Geology of Iberia: A Geodynamic Approach

On January 3, 2020, took place at the Departmento de Geologia (Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa) the presentation of the book “The Geology of Iberia: A Geodynamic Approach”, published by Springer. The book, which includes several works developed by researchers of the Instituto Dom Luiz (IDL), is organized in 5 volumes, which contain an updated review of the geology of the Iberian Peninsula and its continental margins, in a geodynamic perspective. The presentation was in charge of the editors, Cecílio Quesada (Instituto Geológico y Minero de España) and José Tomás de Oliveira (Laboratório Nacional de Energia e Geologia - LNEG), together with the coordinators of the different volumes, José Carlos Kullberg (Universidade Nova de Lisboa), Pedro Proença Cunha (Universidade de Coimbra) and João Cabral (Instituto Dom Luiz and Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa).
